In May 2024, I proudly graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Stout with a degree in Graphic Design and Interactive Media. It was during my time there that I first heard the quote:
“Creativity is not seeing the world for how it is, but for how it could be.”
That idea has stayed with me and continues to shape how I approach design. I believe bringing this vision to life is not something done alone, but something built through collaboration, curiosity, and connection. I love designing with people, for people, because every conversation, perspective, and shared idea leads to more meaningful work that not only solves a problem but creates a lasting impact.
Today, I work as a Young Adult Librarian, where I get to witness the power and joy of learning, creativity, and community on a daily basis. This role has changed my view of design, and life as a whole, and I'm fulfilled by bringing together my technical skills and compassion to improve patrons' experience of entering a library.
Outside the library, you’ll find me listening to K-Pop, illustrating in the corner of a coffee shop, or telling anyone who will listen about my favorite sparkling water flavors and the newest package design I’ve fallen in love with.
